CNC milling is a computer numerical controlled machining process in which the operator programmes the milling movements into a CAD system or computer before the milling begins – similar to drilling and cutting.
Using a cylindrical cutting tool which can be moved along several axes to create a selection of holes, slots and shapes, CNC milling can achieve many of the operations that are performed by drilling and cutting machines but it differs from the single axis motion of a drill, in that the workpiece can move across the milling tool in different directions.
Our state of the art milling machinery and hugely experienced engineers means Certa is able to produce quality CNC milled products in a wide variety of industries.
